Expand
your living space with custom outdoor
furniture...
I’m a Seattle-area based custom furniture designer
and builder with an unusual specialty. Where most custom
Arts and Crafts furniture makers produce indoor furniture,
I chose a different path. Starting with the idea of
expanding living spaces outdoors, I designed and created a
large collection of high-quality custom outdoor furniture.
The line is called the Elliott Bay Collection. As it has
evolved, pieces have been introduced at Arts and Crafts and
Art shows throughout the West Coast. The collection
consists of dozens of pieces and is constantly growing and
evolving. Six design lines cover comfort seating, dining,
benches, lounge seating and many other pieces. The
furniture is handcrafted and custom made for each client,
but often a few pieces are available on short notice.

The
Elliott Bay Collection includes...
Bainbridge…a traditional North East
Adirondack inspired design, Alki…with flowing 30’s Modern
curves, Wallingford… Craftsman/Stickley with
distinct Arts and Crafts bungalow details,
Medina… Asian influenced, Greene and
Greene inspired with cloud lifts and square
plugs, Blacker…the ultimate Greene and Greene
influenced design with added subtleties and
detailing, Leschi…with elegant and modern
details and slots for which Limbert designs are known
for.
Although the different lines all reflect different Arts
& Crafts designs, the six designs are each unique and
have a slightly modern feel to them, thus making the pieces
suitable for both historically accurate as well as
contemporary design environments. For example, many of my
pieces have found homes in some of the most famous Greene
and Greene houses in Pasadena while others in the most
modern homes all over the country. The idea is to give
clients several choices so that the pieces work perfectly
with their home, garden and lifestyle.
